To mark the opening of the 2013-14 Shell Classic International season on the South Bank - Shell Out Sounds serenaded concert-goers on Tuesday October 1st with a jaunty performance of 'You can be sure of Shell', based on an original Shell jingle from the 1950s.

Acclaimed artist Conrad Atkinson has donated a one-off signed and numbered print run of his painting "The Oil Ship" to sell as a fund-raiser for Liberate Tate - the artist collective whose performances address the issue of BP sponsorship of Tate galleries. They're on sale for £75 here:
